Founder and director of Betweenity, Odie is a competition law and policy economist focusing on the intersection of Africa competition law and futures studies.
She worked at the South African Competition Commission, the KPMG Competition Law Advisory Practice, and the Bowmans Competition Practice Group, where she managed the African competition law knowledge desk.
She is adept at the development of African competition regimes and supports a collaborative approach towards the development of an inclusive and prosperous African economy.
She holds an M Phil in Futures Studies from the University of Stellenbosch Business School (cum laude) and a B Comm Honours (Economics) from the Free State University (cum laude).
Odie assists clients with a variety of foresight work. She is a research associate at the Institute for Futures Research in Bellville, South Africa.
